The Diamond Jubilee Medal commemorates the 60th anniversary of Prince Philippe becoming the head of the Royal House of Araucania.
This medal was created by the Royal Decree of Prince Philippe on May 12, 2011.
The medal is silver plate and bears on its obverse a portrait of Prince Philippe. Above the portrait are the words: PHILIPPE REY DE ARAUCANIA Y PATAGONIA. Below are the words: JUBILEO DE DIAMANTE. The reverse is identical to the Golden Jubilee Medal. The medal is suspended from a blue ribbon bearing the arms of Prince Philippe.
This medal was designed by Klaus-Peter Pohland, Count of Coronel, Vice-Chancellor of the Kingdom. This medal will be issued, with a diploma, to individuals supporting the cause of the Royal House.
